12. Taipei is the Naples of China
"When one looks at the large Chinese cultural landscape - including
the Chinese overseas landscape - and compares it with the large
European cultural landscape from Scandinavia to Sicily, I would say
that Taiwan is something like Naples. Full of the joys of life,
chaotic, amusing, with good food, hygiene is not considered very
important, corruption, in short "with everything the heart longs
for", good and bad sides, namely the complete spectrum. Also, here in
Taiwan, Sophia Loren could become pregnant constantly, in order not
to be imprisoned."

Taiwan from 1992 until 1998) (23)
